Task Thirty

Copy the new circle (the one on the back face of the box) onto itself by making the ‘Base point’ and ‘Second point’ the same place.

One of these overlapped circles is going to become part of the yellow component as follows:-. Use Chprop to change one of them to layer 02. (See start of task 4 for Chprop but use the ‘LA’ option instead of " T.") Freeze layer 01 and save your work.

SECTION D31 - TASK 31
The Chprop command, UCS command, and rotaion in the XY plane.

Task Thirty One

Copy the new layer 02 circle +125mm (5 ins) in the "Y" direction by selecting a ‘base point’ and then entering @0,125,0 (ANSI = @0,5,0 ) when prompted for the second point.

SECTION D32 - TASK 32
The Chprop command, UCS command, and rotaion in the XY plane.

Task Thirty Two

Task 32 might be difficult for some people to see on their screens because entities will appear to lie on top of each other. Read all of this task, and consider doing task 33 first. The two yellow circles are going to be joined with 4 entities from their quadrant positions. (‘Quad’ - short for quadrant - is an osnap to find the quarter positions of a circle.) These 4 yellow lines can be seen in Fig Tsk 35. Use the ‘UCS’ command to rotate the XY plane by 90 using the ‘X’ option so it is parallel to the circle. (The first panel of Task 6 to revise Ucs.) Use the "line" and "quad" commands to connect the four quadrants of one circle to the corresponding four quadrants of the other circle. If the lines joining the quadrants are awkward to see consider doing task 33 and then returning to complete the remaining quadrants of these circles.
